How to File a Claim

  1. Act Promptly
    If a spill or stain occurs, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not attempt additional cleaning until you have contacted Guardsman for guidance.
  2. Review Your Protection Plan
    Refer to your protection plan details to ensure that the type of damage or issue is covered under your policy.
  3. Contact Guardsman
    Call 877-584-GOLD (4653) within 30 days of the incident. Please have your sales receipt and plan number available when you call.

  • Stains: Protection against accidental spills and stains from food, beverages, or other household substances.
  • Mechanism Failures: Coverage for operational failures in reclining, extending, or other functional mechanisms.
  • Pet Accidents: Repair or replacement for damage caused by pet-related incidents, including stains or punctures.
  • Burns: Coverage for accidental burns caused by heat sources such as candles, irons, or electrical devices.
  • Rips and Tears: Protection for accidental cuts, rips, or tears that occur during normal household use.
  • Seam Separation: Coverage for separation or splitting of upholstery seams due to normal use.
  • Electronic Components: Repair or replacement of integrated electronic components that experience mechanical or electrical failure.
